Starting on Saturday, April 5th at 10 a.m. Milwaukee PBS Channel 36.1 will be showing the new five-part series, The Civil War: The Untold Story with a rebroadcast of the episode at 3 a.m on Tuesdays. The remaining four episodes will follow the same timeframe – 10 a.m. Saturdays, 3 a.m. Tuesdays. First episode is “Bloody Shiloh:”

On April 15, 8 p.m. The Address, a film by Ken Burns will show on PBS channels 10 and 36.2. To celebrate the 150th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address, documentarian Ken Burns, along with numerous partners, has launched a national effort to encourage everyone in America to video record themselves reading or reciting the speech. The collection of recordings will continue to grow as more and more people are inspired by the power of history and take the challenge to Learn the Address.
